About

An old tradition, faithfully kept

The Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis is a worldwide philosophical and initiatic tradition. This is its English Grand Lodge for Africa and the Middle East.

A brief history

The Rosicrucian tradition, as preserved by AMORC, traces its public origins to the manifestos of the seventeenth century, yet its inner stream is considered far older. The modern Order was reconstituted in 1915 and has since been organised into grand jurisdictions across the world.

The English Grand Lodge for Africa and the Middle East coordinates the work of lodges, pronaoi, and at-large members from Lagos to Cairo, Cape Town to Dubai. Its task is to preserve the integrity of the teachings, to support local bodies, and to make the path accessible to seekers across languages and contexts.

Mission

To offer a structured, non-dogmatic path of mystical study; to foster fraternal community; and to demonstrate, through quiet example, the practical fruits of inner work.

Vision

A jurisdiction in which any sincere seeker, regardless of background, may find a body of teaching equal to the depth of their question.

Leadership

The Grand Lodge is led by the Grand Master, supported by the Council of Solace and the regional officers of each affiliated body. Membership and governance details are available to enrolled members through the member portal.

Jurisdiction

The English Grand Lodge for Africa and the Middle East serves seekers in English-language territories across the continent and the wider region. Members in non-English-language territories are referred to their own language jurisdictions.
